Liberty continues with their third win of the season with a victory against Lincoln on Tuesday night. Despite the 3-0 advantage in sets, the mountaineers had to fight hard to take the sets, winning 25-21 and 25-23 in the first two sets before holding off a late rally from the cougars to finish the night with a 31-29 in the final set. Madi Andrick's ace helped push the Cougars to an early 8-4 lead in the first set and and a kill by Macy Buck extended that lead to 10-5 but liberty came back with an 11-10 lead following four consecutive aces from Kelsi Vance. Vance gave the mountaineers a lift just about every time she stepped to the serve line, putting up the game high of eleven points and eight aces, as well as finishing with six kills and a pair of blocks. Neither team led by more then four points the rest of the set, with Lincoln taking their last lead at 18-16 on an ace from savannah Varner. It was all liberty from my way! there as they finished the game. If we would of had different officials I think the game would of went and ended very different
