Haleigh Ferris plays for the softball team here at Lincoln, and she will be sadly leaving us this year due to her being a senior. She said that she plans on ending her final season on a winning streak and hopes for states and to continue her amazing swinging. Her favorite memory of softball is when they beat Elkins in the last inning when they were down by five runs and they completely turned the game around. Her number for her first three years was twenty four but this year she decided to go with twenty one. The reason for her big start in the sport was to keep herself active.
