This years homecoming dance was yet another success! This year the theme was rockin into the 40s since this was our 40th year. Many people ended up coming and dancing the night away even some teachers joined in on the fun. You could tell everyone was letting lose and just being free. Many songs from back in the day were requested and played throughout the evening. The lunchroom was decorated amazing like it is every year it had that 40s feels. Everyone was dressed up and looked outstanding. It was well attended like it is every year of homecoming. The week before homecoming we have a week of days where we have a theme to dress everyday and everyone works on the doors they decorate with a theme. The theme is based around that years homecoming theme and you had in whoever we play that Friday for our homecoming game. we have a contest with everything I mean what school would put each grade up against other each day at the end they announce the places for who was dressed up for that day and then they don't walk around and look at the doors till that Friday and at the pep rally they announce who won the doors. This school is really competitive even more with each other. Seniors pretty much got first for everyday of the week all but one. the juniors and sophomores were pretty much neck and neck everyday with each other. By what everyone could tell everybody's favorite day was I woke up like this. That day is where you wear your pajamas to school that day. that is pretty much the only day you can wear them because any other days you get yelled at for having them on. Lots of people came to homecoming and danced the night away and let loose. Even some of the teachers got in on the action and started dancing. From the looks of everything everyone enjoyed themselves and had a night to remember. The pep rally was a great way to end the week of homecoming games and just in time for the football game. Everyone was going to get pictures taken by the famous Kathy Martin and Amy moore from Portrait house photography the night of homecoming they take pictures every homecoming and they are always a big hit! This years homecoming was definitely one for the books and one that nobody will forget!
