Every year, Lincoln gets their newest student additions around the middle to end of the first semester of the school year.
This year, Lincoln High School had the privilege of having 18-year-old Adrian Maze join us for his junior year of high school.
Adrian originated from Rennes, France, where the rest of his family currently lives. He attended Saint-Vincent High School, but Adrian now lives with the Parsons’ family just for the 2017-18 school year during this year of studying abroad. He is planning to go to college, but has yet decided where, but he knows he wants to become a doctor.
The one thing Maze misses from back home is his family. He has two siblings - one younger sister, and a younger brothers. West Virginia’s landscape is his favorite thing about our state. So far, his is favorite class is West Virginia Travel, taught by Mr. Crosby. Although he likes West Virginia, he also enjoys surfing, so he does miss that. Adrian’s favorite American food is pepperoni rolls, and his favorite food from home is bread. Though he has enjoyed his time so far here at Lincoln and would love to stay in America as long as possible, he misses his family and will be excited to return home and be reunited with them.
