Lauren Marissa Brooks is the daughter of Doug and Billie Jo Brooks, and is the granddaughter of Bill and Wilma Chrastina, Steve Brooks, Gaylene Brooks, and Linda Oldaker.
While at Lincoln, Lauren has maintained a 4.0 GPA and is ranked 11th in her class. During her junior year of high school, Lauren was inducted into the National Honor Society and this year elected as President of this prestigious organization. Lauren has already qualified as a PROMISE Scholar. She has also been very active with the Student Council during her four years at Lincoln, while this year she serves as the Treasurer of the Student Body. Lauren is also a member of the Key Club serving as the Secretary, the FFA, and an active member of Younglife.
Lauren is also a four year member of the girls’ soccer team, serving as captain this year, as well as a three year member of the girls’ softball team.
In her free time, she enjoys riding dirt bikes. Lauren plans on attending Fairmont State University to study nursing and eventually become a midwife nurse.
Joseph “Anthony” Caruso is the son of JC and Valerie Caruso and the grandson of Joe and Carla Caruso and Joseph and Patricia Corcoglioniti.
During his four years at Lincoln High School, Anthony has been on the Perfect Honor Roll every six weeks. During his junior year, he was inducted into the National Honor Society. Anthony has received the top Math score on the Smarter Balanced Assessment for the last three years and also holds the Top male ACT score at Lincoln, as well as being recognized as a Top Scholar. He has already qualified as a PROMISE scholar.
Anthony has been very active while at Lincoln. He is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America and serves as Treasurer of this organization. He is also a member of the Key Club, Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Student Council, Boys Soccer team, 4-H Club, and Chess Club.
Anthony has participated in numerous activities during high school, such as Trunk or Treat, Trick or Treating for UNICEF, Feed a Family, canned food drives, Angel Luv, Harrison County Social Studies and Science Fair Liaison, and as a student mentor. Anthony was also named as the Low Brass Section Leader for the band as well as he works as a volunteer for the band concession stand. This past summer, he had the opportunity to attend Mountaineer Boys State where he was elected Sherriff of his county. Anthony has also been chosen as an IBelieve Delegate. He is an active member of the Jewel City Youth Group and recently completed a youth group mission trip.
After high school, Anthony plans on attending Fairmont State University to pursue a degree in computer science.
