Lincoln Cougars the bats going with eight hits back to the pitching of Hunter Williams in a 6-2 win over RCB in the big 10 conference. the cougars were led at the plate with Kobie Carpenter who went 2-for- 3 with a double, stolen base and three runs scored from his leadoff spot in batting order. David Akers is another Lincoln baseball player who had a solid day with a double and and three RBI's Coach Starkey said "We hit the ball a lot better in this game then we did in the earlier game ." Starkey also said "This win gives us some momentum going into the final week of the regular season." The Eagles were the ones who got off to the good start with two runs in the first inning of the game. The Cougars rallied in the bottom half of the first inning with three runs on three hits and took advantage of two RCB errors for a lead of 3-2. In the end the cougars one with a score of 6-2.
