The long school year

Everyone that we talked to had they same thoughts about the school year getting extended this late they all say that all the teachers and students are burnt out and have already stop doing there best on work. Mrs.loss said “we should of worked over spring break some.” Student Alisha Evans says “I don’t like it I could be at home laying in bed watching Netflix.” Everyone agreed with each other. Some are even upset that they took away our field day this year and said that we have had nothing to look forward to at the end of the year. Some teachers say we should have days like the elementary does. All this week they have had days like circus day, bubble day,game day, and today they are going to the park and pool today. Nobody had anything positive to say about the extended school year. Mr.starkey said “it was a total waste of time for the students and teachers.” The first word that came out of all the students mouth was that it sucked which everyone agreed with them. At one point our iPads even stop working because we weren’t meant to be In school anymore and it had to get fixed. It took sometime but the end is near and everyone is happy about that. The teachers said that they and the students need time to relax and get energy back so they can get excited for next school year. Even though the teachers didn’t run out of things to teach in the end the students weren’t very good at staying on task which in the end caused problems with all of the grades for them. The overall well pretty much only opinion was that it was a waste of time and that nothing good came from it.
