Lincoln boys soccer got their first win this Monday against South Harrison.
At the start of the game, it seemed like South Harrison came to win as they were hammering Lincoln’s goalie, Jared Nelson.
Nelson blocked shot after shot for his team, trying to buy some time for his team to get the lead. Then a goal was made by Lincoln, and short after Lincoln’s own defender scored another goal making the 2-0.
Lincoln scored two more goals by the end of the first half.
The fifth goal was scored by Lincoln’s striker, Jason Nelson, in the beginning of the second half off a PK.
By the end of the match, the score was 6-1(Lincoln). Both defenders and offenders on Lincoln had scored goals.
The keeper for Lincoln, Jared Nelson, had a total of 17 saves in goal.
