On Monday September 24, the Lincoln High School golf team competed in their regional tournament, at Bridgeport Country Club. Some of the other schools that played were Lewis County, RCB, Bridgeport, Nicholas County, and more. Bridgeport and RCB were the two rams that qualified for the state tournament and Payton Moore from Lincoln qualified as an individual. Scores- Payton Moore: 85, Baron Swiger- 90, Johnny Lopez-106, Hailey Boyce-118. The cougars tied for third place in the tournament and Payton will travel to Wheeling next week for the state golf tournament.
