Spirit week!

It’s that time again at Lincoln High school, where everyday kids dress up in crazy outfits! That’s right its spirit week at Lincoln. Every year the week of Homecoming Lincoln high does spirit week, where every day is different outfit theme that goes along with the homecoming theme. This year our Homecoming theme is Highway to Homecoming so our dress up days went with different parts of the united states that you might see if you were on. A road trips. On Monday it was Manhattan Monday, where kids dressed in their best attire. This day was pretty interesting because there were kids dressed n country club clothes and kids dressed up. On Tuesday were going down south with Texas Tuesday, where kids dress like their Texas. This includes: boots, flannels, hats, jeans, etc. This got pretty interesting because there were some very creative kids who took teas to a whole new level. On Wednesday its time for a bathroom break with Rest stop Wednesday, this day is pretty easy because you just wear your pj’s. ON Thursday students will be hitting the beaches with Tkik Thursday, this can be a wide variety of thongs like Hawaiian shirts, floppy hats, shorts, flip flops, etc. On Friday the road trip comes to an end with Finally Home Friday, where kids either wear their homecoming shirts or they deck-out in their Lincoln gear. At the end of every day they announce the winner, based on which class had the highest participation for that day. Winning a day can really help you win the spirit stick at the pep rally. Over all spirit week is just really fin and it gets everybody excited for the game Friday and the dance Saturday
