Last night the Cougars were on the road at Liberty to face up against the Mountaineers. The JV girls were able to fight and dominate the Mounties in 2 swift sets. The JV girls have improved their season dramatically. The Varsity Cougars fought, but struggled in a new rotation and lost the second set, 25-22. The girls outlasted the Mountaineers for the other three, 25-20, 25-15 and 25-21. This win moved the Cougars season to 12-13 and secured the 3rd seed for sectionals next Tuesday against RCB at 6:00.
