Ms. Jorgensen is the substitute for Mrs. Metheny as she spends time on maternity leave with her new baby.
Ms. Jorgensen started subbing because she has always like working with different children. Before her substitute work, she was a junior counselor for several years at a summer camp.
also loves to pass on the love of music that she had gotten from her music teachers.
She graduated college in 2017 and this is her first year substitute teaching. She has subbed at about five to seven schools now. Her favorite class to teach is choir or band. Her favorite memory of subbing is when she can see students faces light up whenever they understand something difficult. She went to high school at Winfield High School and she went to college at Harding University. Her favorite class in school was any music class, but she like English as well.
She’s been at Lincoln for about one day for three weeks so far, but she will be subbing here for a while. Outside of school, she spends time with her parents and likes reading and practicing music
