Senior Year Dreads

As the year is quickly approaching the end of the first semester, the senior class of 2018-2019 are starting to think about their end of high school.

Many have experienced the feeling of sadness, and in some cases, joy. Graduation is something all seniors have been excited for, but at the same time a lot of them are dreading it.

As a senior this year, I can guarantee that many of you will feel the same way when your time comes. Which is why I asked a few of our senior class the things that they’d miss most about high school.

“I think the things I’ll miss most are band, volleyball, and my friends.” Shared Macy Buck, the first senior I talked to.

I then talked to Andrew Fleece, “I think I’ll miss the chicken patty sandwiches during lunch, and I’ll miss all of the teachers.”

Next, I talked to Madi Andrick. “I will miss my friends, and softball the most out of everything" she shared with me.

Lastly, I talked to Jenna Garrison who shared that she hated to talk about high school ending. “I’ll miss the experience of high school all together.” Garrison stated.

As seniors, the class can all agree that high school went by way too fast. It seems like just yesterday was our first day of freshmen year. Seeing all of the things we love come to an end is a bittersweet moment to experience. So, we encourage all high school students to enjoy themselves while it lasts, because you will miss it.
