Christmas. Halloween. Easter. Thanksgiving. You pick.

Lincoln High School is full of many different students who have very different opinions about a lot of things. But one thing almost all of the students can agree on is we love holiday breaks, and we wait for them all year long.

So, in honor of Thanksgiving Break being a little over a week away, we went around and asked students and faculty what their favorite holiday was and why.

"Christmas, because I get presents” said freshman Zoey Klimek.

“Christmas, you get free presents.” Junior Ryan Ankrom.

“Christmas, you get things.” Freshman Rayegan Loss.

"Christmas, presents.” Sophomore Michael Yost.

"Halloween, cause you can be anything you want, as silly as you want, and nobody cares.” Teacher Mrs. Hostuttler.

“Christmas, because everyone is happy.” Sophomore, Zach Snyder.

Finally, we asked our student body president Johnathan Looman what his favorite holiday was and why. This is what he had to say, “New Years, because it’s a new beginning.”

So, as you can see the students at Lincoln have different opinions about things, and that’s ok. The important thing is we are going on break soon.
