One movie I have always loved is the movie My Girl ( 1991 ). It’s been a favorite movie of mine for many years now, as I believe it tells a deep story of a troubled young girl. Not to mention the darker concept of death being something people are afraid of and have trouble accepting or processing. Which is why the scene of Thomas J. always chokes me up. The acting in this scene feels so real, as we watch this young girl try to process the idea of death and heartache. She breaks down in the most innocent way, and it really lets the viewer feel the raw, real, emotion of the scene.
