Instagram is a photo and video-sharing social media network. The internet tells us, “The app allows users to upload photos and videos to the service, which can be edited with various filters, and organized with tags and location information. An account's posts can be shared publicly or with pre-approved followers. Users can browse other users' content by tags and locations, and view trending content. Users can "like” photos, and follow other users to add their content to a feed.” Instagram is very popular among teens. Alyssa Riley, a senior, shares with us why she posts on Instagram. She likes to keep people updated on her life. Her followers can see her adventures, her interests, and enjoy seeing her day to day life. Alyssa considers Instagram to be a hobby. She is always finding ways to improve her profile. Follow her @alyssariley_ Patrick Bart, a senior, also enjoys posting on Instagram. He has a meme account where he posts things he thinks are funny. He posts to bring laughter and joy to all of his friends. He keeps his meme account limited to a certain amount of friends. Ryan Leep, a junior, has an Instagram as well. He, however, doesn’t really enjoy Instagram. He only uses Instagram to keep up with friends and family.
