Monday night the lady Cougars basketball had their first big ten action as they hosted Robert C. Byrd. The lady Cougars started extremely slow missing their first nine field goals and going scoreless for over five minutes. In that span, Byrd only had taken a three point lead, which wouldn’t hold up. The cougars finished the first quarter on 15-0 run lead by Allison Rockwell scoring the first five of the run. She would score 16 points in a lady cougars rout over RCB, 57-25. Hannah Ferris, Victoria Sturm, and Allison Rockwell finished in double digits and all three had seven rebounds as well.
