For the third game of their season, the Lady Cougars had a long trip to Elkins to face the Lady Tigers. To start off the night, the junior varsity Cougars fought hard with a strong lead, but lost it in the end, 26-24. They came back the second game, but quickly fell behind and couldn’t climb back up, taking a loss from the Tigers, now 0-3.
The Lincoln Varsity put up a strong fight and won their first set. The second set was much quicker with win from the Cougars, 25-10, dominating over the Tigers. The third set was closer, but the Cougars kept their heads and came out with a win for the match of 3-0 to make their season 2-1. The girls will host their first home game of the 2018 season against Lewis County next Tuesday the 11th.
