Wednesday Night, the Lady Cougars traveled to North Marion to face the Lady Huskies.
After defeating the Number 1 ranked Polar Bears, the girls had high hopes, but knew North was a talented team.
The game started off with many threes from the Huskies, and remained that way throughout the game.
Each player had a strong offensive game and were able to hold off the Cougars the remainder of the game.
The Huskies broke the Cougars 10 game winning streak by defeating them, 74-41.
When asked to give a quote after the game, Sophomore Madi Martin said, “Basketball brings everyone on and off the court together and the bonds you created over time with teammates and fans are ones you wouldn’t give up for the world.”
The girls are keeping their heads up and improving their game and teamwork as time goes on.
The girls play again against RCB at their gym today at 7pm.
