The Drug Free Club is a club that will be led by Mrs. Wolfe to help kids say no and help them stay away from drugs.
With this club, all members will be drug tested once at our school by United Hospital Center/WVU Medicine. A second random test will be given later in the school year with 20% of members being tested.
If your child tests positive on one of the drug tests, the parents and primary caregivers will be made known of these results.
The school and sponsors will never be aware of drug test results.
The kick-off celebration to this club will be on February 10, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the commons area at the school.
Within this club, they are giving away a television, gift cards, free t-shirts, and other prizes. Other incentives to join the club are monthly catered lunches, and an end of the year trip.
This club will be open to both Lincoln High School and Lincoln Middle School students to encourage them not to use drugs; or if they get into the situation of being asked to use them, they can say no because they could have a random drug test at any time.
More information will be sent home.
