Mr. Sharp is part of our math department at Lincoln High School.
He first began teaching because he felt like it was what he was meant to do.
Mr. Sharp has been teaching for 14 years, and he’s been at Lincoln for six of those years. In those years, he has also taught at Gore Middle School and Lumberport Middle School.
His favorite class to teach is College Prep.
So far, his favorite memory of teaching was reading a student's college acceptance letter to them saying that they got into the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mr. Sharp went to high school at Pocahontas County High School and to college at Glenville State.
In school, his favorite classes were math and art.
When asked about his personal life, Mr. Sharp said, “I’ve been married for 15 years to my wife Tiffany who is a Lincoln graduate, and I have a five-year-old daughter, Autumn.”
Outside of school, he likes to run and coach track, do carpentry, and watch movies.
