Cougars coming up short


Lincoln and North Marion had a big battle through all four quarters, both teams having great defense holding each other to 40 points to the end of regulation. Combining all Lincoln turnover they had 18 turnovers through three quarters and just 26 points trailing the Huskies 34-26. Tuesday both teams was for from playing there best basketball game, after Lincoln scored a couple points, they turned up the pressure and knotted things up at 44. Cougars forced two overtime’s before falling 55-49 to North Marion. Head Coach Jordan Toth quoted “ We just weren’t in character Tuesday for whatever reason.” Jordan Toth lamented. “. We were never in rhythm, we were always rushed so I don’t think we put our best foot forward Tuesday night and we found a way to send it to overtime”.
