
Lincoln had a rhythm going for 31 minutes and 42 seconds. They had a formula to upset Class AA Number 7 Bridgeport Tuesday night at Bridgeport. But the Indians John Ross Mazza put up a prayer from deep off the left wing with 18 seconds left, and it blanked in to tie the at 45-45 and force it to overtime, and the Indians were able to get a quick lead in the extra period and hang on for the 51-47 victory. The win moved the Indians to 14-2 on the season while the loss dropped Lincoln to 11-7. Leep had Game high 17 points and Zack Snyder had six rebounds and 12 points and Hawkins had 8 points and six rebounds. Coach Jordan Toth said “But when you play Bridgeport, you have to take the game from them and we did not do that at the end.”
