Tuesday night Lincoln hosted Liberty. Lincoln looked ready to play after coming off a big win against Nicholas County on Saturday. Lincoln forced 17 turnovers after they went to a 1-3-1 holding Liberty from shooting 30% from three. The Cougars defense was particularly dominant in the games opening stonza, as Lincoln held Liberty without a single point in the first half building a 14-0 lead. Ryan Leep had a good game at the top of the 1-3-1 Coach Jordan Toth said. The Cougars improves to 13-7 with a 59-31 victory over the Liberty Mountaineers. Ryan Leep scored 9 with Zach Snyder led the way with 10 while Payton Hawkins and Payton Moore scored 8 points. Lincoln will be back in action on Friday when they travel to Tucker County and Liberty will host East Fairmont on Friday night.Â
