On Thursday, April 4, 2019, members of the Harrison County Sexual Assault Response Team ( SART ) visited Lincoln High School. These four, wonderful, women presented in front of all students, educating them on what Consent is and why it’s so important. Educating students on the basic human right to decline or accept, and the difference between consent and no consent. Not only did they teach students about consent, they also informed the student body on many ways they could reach out for help if needed. Within the presentation, students were informed of SART ( Sexual Assault Response Team ) and many ways that students could get help they needed.
