Saturday, the boys and girls tennis teams spent all day at either RCB or Lincoln to play the Big 10 tournament. Rain forced the 3 day tournament to be crunched into one, without 1 and 2 seed doubles play. The girls tennis team claimed the title as Big 10 champions, as well as Allison Rockwell with the first seed Champion and First Team Big 10. Gracen McDonald claimed Second Team Big 10 with runner up at second seed. The Boys got Big 10 Runner-up as a team, with Bridgeport taking the title. Justin Vance, Ryan Leep and JR DeFazio all got Runner-up and second team Big 10 in their seeds as well. Coach DeMarco was voted Big 10 Girls Coach of the Year. Tennis had a great weekend and plans to continue their winning this week as Regional play begins Wednesday.
