Four years have flown by, and the seniors of 2018/2019 will be graduating soon. The students within the class could share so many stories about their high school experience. Whether their experience was good or bad, they’re always reliable when it comes to the best and worst parts of high school. For them, they’ve been through many things in these four years; from their first day of school to their last day, it’s been an exciting journey. So, In these four years, what’s the biggest change? Macy Buck shared hers “It would have to be my self confidence. Starting in freshman year, I cared way too much about what others thought. I wouldn’t wear shirts or outfits that I loved for fear of being judged, I wore makeup everyday to cover my acne. Now, I hardly ever wear makeup. I wear whatever I want, and don’t care what others think about what I wear, because it makes me happy. I do things to make myself happy and worry less about pleasing others.” Madi Andrick also shared “In the past four years my friend group has changed so much. I have met so many new people and made some great friendships. I have grown to realize that if you pick friends wisely and aren’t just concerned with popularity then these people will stick by your side through the hardest times in your life. Without the friends I have these past four years would have been difficult to get through alone.” High School is something many students will always complain about, but deep down they all know just how much it means to them too. The seniors are the ones to tell you, and maybe even your own family, that you’ll defiantly miss it when it’s over. From your first day to your last, you’ve grown into someone new. You’ve improved on yourself, and made lifelong friends. Although the journey seems long now, once it’s over you’ll realize just how fast it actually went by. So, take it from the seniors, enjoy it while it lasts and grow with the difficult steps in the way.
